「ネイティブ研修会」

〈講師：Austin Johnson講師　〉

今年度からコスモで初めて勤務されている外国人講師を対象とした研修会をzoomを用いて配信形式で行いました。前半は弊社のルールや実際にあった問題やクレームを紹介し、その対応方法を紹介することで注意喚起を促しました。後半はゲストスピーカーのAustin講師にお越しいただき、勤務する際の心構えや、授業で使えるゲームやアクティビティ、生徒との関わり方などを参加者との意見交換も交えながら講習していただきました。多くの先生は日本での勤務経験はありますが、今までの学校のレベルと違ったり担当学年が異なるなど慣れない環境での勤務です。講師間でもアイデアや意見を交換し確認しあういい機会となりました。

「Cosmo Workshop for New Comers」

〈Guest speaker: Austin Johnson〉

A workshop for foreign teachers who started working from this April at Cosmo was held via Zoom. In the first half, we introduced our company's rules, actual problems and complaints, and how to deal with them to caution the participants. In the second half, we had a guest speaker, Austin Johnson, who gave a lecture on how to prepare for working in Japan, games and activities, and how to interact with students who hesitate or are not able to speak English while exchanging opinions with the participants. Most of the teachers had worked in Japan before, but were unfamiliar with a new environment, such as different school levels or different grade levels. It was a good opportunity for the teachers to exchange ideas and opinions with each other.
